Personal Donations
Any donation made to NAPS is guaranteed to enable us to carry on the work of the Association, so essential to the health of PMS sufferers.
Please note that we are advised that with small donations the charge to NAPS on a credit card payment is less than 1%, whereas a debit card payment incurs a hefty charge.
Gift Aid can be declared in the checkout. Gift Aid enables NAPS to receive an additional 25p from the HM Revenue and Customs for each £1 paid by UK taxpayers in donations.
The Giving Machine
A great way of supporting NAPS financially is to sign up to The Giving Machine. Over 400 retailers are involved with the scheme, including most of the big names. Once you are registered as a supporter of NAPS, each time you want to make an online purchase, you follow a simple procedure by first going to the Giving Machine. As a result of any transaction, the retailer pays a percentage commission to NAPS. The whole process is very easy and costs you nothing but is a bonus to us. Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is a way for a company’s employees to make regular payments to a charity directly from their own pay.
Your company may already have a Payroll Giving scheme in place. Find out from your accounts department if this in the case. If you want to donate to NAPS through the company scheme, you fill in a form which is then returned directly by you to the Payroll Giving Agency, so your choice of charity is completely confidential.
All donations attract tax relief straightaway, meaning that your donation costs you less. For example, if you pay tax at the basic rate of 20%, it would cost you £8 to make a £10 donation. If you pay tax at the higher rate at 40%, it would cost £6 to make the same donation.
